Meet Napoleon (“Leon”)
Meet Leon, an adorable Connemara pony with a big heart! Leon is a great horse for our riders who are transitioning from beginners into intermediate/advanced riders. His patient disposition and fantastic work ethic help riders gain confidence as they grapple with more difficult techniques, while his experience and desire to please allows him to help his rider in areas where there’s still room for growth. His kind personality and adorable good looks make him a treasured member of our ETWC herd.
Fun Facts
Got rescued in Massachusetts in 2011 when he was 12 years old
5th horse ETWC rescued
18 years old
Technically a large pony; just under 14.2 hands
In the past, he did dressage, cross country, jumping
His training has carried him forward, very talented
At one point, we boarded a full-size white goat named Belle—they were best friends who played together.
